SWFL Produce, a beloved family-owned farm and co-op based in Punta Gorda, has brought its passion for fresh, local food to Babcock Ranch with the opening of a brand-new farm stand at Explorer’s Park. Founded by Elizabeth Etnoyer—an MBA graduate from Florida Gulf Coast University, proud Babcock Ranch resident, and dedicated mom of three—SWFL Produce is more than just a farm stand. It’s a mission to nourish the community and uplift local farmers.
Every Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., residents and visitors can swing by Explorer’s Park and shop an incredible selection of farm-fresh offerings. From crisp greens, juicy tomatoes, bell peppers, sweet potatoes, and zucchini to vibrant berries, citrus fruits, and seasonal favorites, the stand bursts with color and nutrition. But it doesn’t stop there—visitors can also pick up fresh-baked bread, farm-fresh eggs, creamy local milk, artisanal cheeses, local raw honey, and pasture-raised, locally sourced beef.
Whether you’re meal-prepping for the week, planning a picnic, or just enjoying a sunny stroll through the park, the farm stand provides convenient access to clean, quality food that supports Southwest Florida farmers and families.
Explorer’s Park, one of Babcock Ranch’s signature green spaces in the PKWY park system, is the perfect setting for this community-driven initiative. Complete with custom playgrounds, grassy hills, and a peaceful fishing lagoon, the park now also serves as a hub for wholesome, local goodness.
So mark your calendars—Saturdays and Sundays, 12 to 5 p.m.—and stop by the SWFL Produce Farm Stand at Explorer’s Park. Fill your basket, support a local dream, and savor the taste of Southwest Florida.
